Meet Our Leaders
Brett graduated Cum Laude from Wake Forest University. While still in school, he co-founded an advertising company called mySavu Inc., which provided over 100 paying businesses in university towns an online venue to offer information, menus, discounts, and giveaways for college students. He was awarded the university’s highest honor for entrepreneurial achievement- The Hobb’s Award. Over the last several years Brett Apter has been both consulting for small businesses, mid-size companies, and large corporations. On behalf of Get On Social, Brett helps these organizations establish an effective overall online marketing strategy. He particularly focuses on the Search Engine Optimization and Social Media Branding implementation within the marketing scheme. In addition to this, Brett continues to give lectures to Chambers of Commerce and Rotary Clubs throughout Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington D.C. Brett has also presented at the Raleigh Entrepreneur’s Series Event and was a guest speaker for an hour television segment on Tampa Bay Community Network:
As a graduate of Wake Forest University, Tim is now a member of the Wake Forest Center for Entrepreneurship’s highly respected Advisory Counsel. While in school, he built a customer relationship manager (CRM) / content management system (CMS) for mySavu Inc.; managing statistics, transactions, and site operations for both clients and sales reps across several regions. Following this he has created a new WYSIWYG custom web publishing framework, in use by several departments of Wake Forest University. He is focused on identifying, developing, and commercializing current and emerging open source technology offerings.
